Illustrating Netflix’s Iconic Worlds: From Concept to Colorful Reality
Collaborating with Netflix has been an incredible journey, allowing me to create illustrations for some of the world's most iconic franchises. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of designing for style guides, limited edition merchandise, clothing, and more. Each project has been an opportunity to bring my bold, illustrative style to life while aligning with the unique tone of Netflix’s diverse properties.
For a series like Stranger Things or The Witcher, the challenge was to visually encapsulate their rich worlds and compelling narratives. My process begins with initial concept sketches to explore themes, compositions, and stylistic direction. These rough sketches are then refined into linework drafts, showcasing the structural foundation of the illustration. Finally, vibrant colours and textures are added, transforming the designs into fully realised pieces that resonate with their respective audiences.
